  • Marilyn Gomez

Hey, I’m Marilyn, and my passion for animals started when I was a kid. I first started working with animals at 16 as a volunteer at a local rescue shelter. From that moment on, I was hooked! I have a special place in my heart for both dogs and cats, and I’m dedicated to making a difference in their lives. I also rescue and rehome cats and dogs, fueled by my love for all animals. I’m currently working on online schooling in hopes of getting my associates degree in veterinary technology, passing the VTNE to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician, and hopefully pursue a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in the future.

  • Maddison Lokey

Hello! My name is Maddi and I’ve had a passion for animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family always had multiple pets and I remember being obsessed with them from a young age. For the past 5 years, I have been rescuing animals and working towards building a career in the animal care field. Currently, I have 5 cats and am planning to soon begin a Veterinary Technician program to further my knowledge and continue pursuing a career in the Veterinary field.

  • Arianna Rivera

My desire to help animals in need led to my growing passion in this field. Growing up, I’d always visit my parents’ home country, Ecuador and seeing all the stray dogs/cats I knew it was a calling to study Veterinary Medicine. I graduated from LaGuardia Community College in August of 2025 as a Veterinary Technician and I got licensed 2 months later, in October. Since then, I’ve gained experience working primarily with rabbits and cats, but now I am very excited to shift my focus to cats and dogs. I am looking forward to expanding my knowledge in this field in hopes of continuing to be a voice for the voiceless.

  • Kayla Rojas

My desire to aid animals and lend them my heart and hand was rooted in me as a young girl. My family called it a gift, the way animals always found their way to me, knowing I would lend a helping hand. I desire to continue my education in veterinary medicine and travel the world helping animals wherever I can, as an avid animal lover, this beautiful ride will never end. Growing up caring for my family's pets and local strays drove me to aid those in need and treat everyone’s fur baby as if it were my own. We all have that one defining trait, and everyone knows me as the animal lover. I’m always the first to be called when an animal is in distress or needing aid, and I love it that way!
